Congrats, Dr. Sanford!!

Congratulations to the new Dr. Samantha Sanford on her successful thesis defense. Her defense was carried out in a unique way this year - in person for close family and friends and virtually for her committee and other audience members. Dr. Sanford defended her thesis titled “Mechanisms of Telomerase Inhibition by Oxidized and Therapeutic dNTPs” exceptionally well, and it was followed by a small celebration with local macarons from Gaby et Jules. Dr. Sanford will be continuing her telomerase work in our lab as a postdoc.
