Dr. Sanjana Thosar to VOR Bio

Dr. Sanjana Thosar, who successfully defended her thesis and earned her PhD in August, is starting a new career in industry at VOR Biopharma in Cambridge, MA. VOR Bio’s focus is on Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Their goal is to create cancer-resistant donor Hematopoietic Stem Cells that can avoid being targeted by the cancer therapy. These healthy donor cells, invisible to the cancer drugs, will decrease the chance of AML recurrence, and hopefully increase the survival rates of this cancer.

Sanjana will be a great addition to their team, and we are so excited to see the fruits of her hard work! She was an integral member of the lab here, and she will be missed very much. All the best, Sanjana!
